Starting with Sector 27, Chandigarh
Your WhatsApp group already knows what's broken. ApnaSector keeps the record: how many houses are waiting, whether anyone has filed a complaint, and how long it took to fix.
Sound familiar?
Everyone posts the same problem, one house at a time. Nobody knows who filed a formal complaint, what the complaint number is, or which officer has it. Two months later the monkeys are still there, and the group has moved on to the next problem.
The work that does get done is forgotten just as fast. A street light fixed in five hours gets one "thanks" in the group, then disappears under tomorrow's messages.

How it works
For residents
Every problem shows a day counter, the houses affected and whether a complaint exists. "Day 58, 31 houses, complaint filed 41 days ago" is very hard to ignore, and easy to send to a councillor.
For the people who fix things
The sector head, RWA members, MC teams and officers solve hundreds of problems, and nobody remembers them a week later. Here, every fix goes on the sector's thank-you wall: who fixed it, how fast, and every "thank you" from residents.
Try it
This is an example board with made-up problems: garbage on day 4, monkeys back for the second time, street lights fixed in hours. Tap anything. Nothing you do on it is saved.
Open the example boardFair and safe
You pick from civic problems: garbage, monkeys, dogs, trees, street lights, water, broken new work. Posts that name or accuse a person are removed. Links and phone numbers can't be posted.
Every report, confirmation or "not fixed" needs a house number, name and mobile number. House numbers are public, because that's how neighbours know each other. Names and numbers are never shown. Only the sector's moderators can see them.
Moderators can see exactly who did what on every problem. Anyone can report a post, and three reports hide its text until it's reviewed. Posting is limited per number, and anyone misusing the board is blocked by their number.
Why this exists
I live in Sector 27 and I'm a quiet member of our sector group. Every day I watched the same problems posted again and again: no garbage van, monkeys, dog bites, new construction already cracking. People were trying, but no one could see who had complained, or whether anything had happened. So I built the board I wanted: one place that remembers.
